What are we about

Fundamentally we are all about education - we were founded by educationists. We are the IT company that exists with the sole purpose of delivering projects that really make a difference to teachers and young peoples lives. We care so much about this that we give all of our profits back to schools. We have a real passion for outstanding customer service, and a unique understanding of schools and academies.

New Academies and free school Projects

We are experienced at delivering new academies and free schools. We have delivered over 50 successful projects in the last 36 months, ranging from brand new academies built from the ground up, schools converting to academies, and free schools. We are one of 21 companies in the UK selected as a supplier to join the RM1050 framework by the EFA and Crown Commercial Service. We can work with you from the beginning of the project designing the ICT solution and working with builders to integrate, through to go live support , ensuring that staff and students are getting the most out of your ICT investment.   

Keeping it all running every day

Oasis IT Services is currently delivering managed services to 47 academies and free schools across the UK. We have a team of 104 engineers and a national service desk based in London. We operate 2 co-located data centres and a national wide area network that will allow your school or academy to plug into a fast, secure education network. We can support Apple, Google and Microsoft devices.

Making IT happen in the classroom

Fundamentally we are educationalists. We operate a programme called Fusion that is all about "fusing" education and ICT so that teachers and students get the most out of the technology available.

We have experience of delivering over 100 academy and free schools projects, working closely with the EFA, builders and project managers. 

John Barneby

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

John Barneby has been operating at a senior leadership level within the Educational IT sector for the last 12 years. John has worked for commercial companies delivering education focused IT projects and managed services, before going to work for one of the largest multi academy trust, where John set up the IT managed services, transitioned 47 academies to a single ICT infrastructure and deployed Office 365 across all academies. John is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Prince2 certified Project Manager and holds one of the, the ITIL Expert accreditation for Service Delivery.

Rob Lamont

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Prior to joining Oasis Rob Lamont worked as a ICT Consultant, both nationally and internationally, supporting the design and delivery of innovative education related projects. Rob specialises in the integration of IT into building design and is experienced in working with schools and academies from a building's conception through to the finished delivery of ICT solution. Rob is an ITIL certified, Prince2 practitioner and holds an engineering masters degree from the university of Leeds.
